The "concrete cello" pack is a collection of scraping, scratchy and droning improvisations on the cello focussing on the creation of sounds to be used as base materials for future compositions. They were originally recorded in 2019 to be used in as sound design elements for the documentary "hotel regina" by director matthias berger for which i composed the music. A "mockup" of footstep sounds, made by "drumming" with my fingers and nails on a cardboard box. Recorded with one of those sheap computer headset microphones, edited in audacity to remove the undesired parts. It sounds a bit like footsteps on a wooden floor.

As my home brew beer is fermenting, co2 is piped off through an air lock. This sound is actually the bubbles of gas being released into a container of water but it does sound like drips. Recorded at 48k on a tascam dr-40 and sennheiser mic. I've added a bit of reverb.

Recorded some sounds, filtered out the noize, reversed it and put paulstretcher on it. Had to amplify the bass, because there was an incredibly awkward high-pitch sound in the background. Cricket ball bouncing on a bat: sounds like a constant knocking on a door but has a slight ting at the end of each bounce. Recorded using the zoomh4n and using the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. No processing has been done to this sound. The bat used in the sound is a kookaburra kahuna 150 english willow and the ball was a bellingham & smith 135g match cricket ball.

In this sound track, someone is handling a bag of crisps with strong intent on making rumple noises. The motion is holding and folding the bag of crisps. The sounds has a metallic quality to it, the motion is done at random. Useful for sample slicing. It is recorded with a simple tie microphone and then edited on audacity to reduce noise and isolate the sound.
